About Me

I received my BA in Cultural Anthropology from the State University of New York at New Paltz, and received my Master’s in Public Health and Master’s in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

On the academic/training side of things, I am intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Family-Centered Treatment. I have completed training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy (PAP). My therapy style is heavily informed by Attachment Theory and Internal Family Systems (IFS) Theory. Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I worked as a public health researcher for 15 years, studying trauma and mental health in international settings.

My therapy with couples is informed by Gottman, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) and Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO).

Personally, I am warm and empathetic. I want to understand your story up to right now. If you have any questions about the above, please feel free to contact me.
